Marxian Theory

Volunteering at the radio station this morning was AWESOME. I met really great people, the two I did gift packaging with were so friendly and fun to work with. I didn't get to go to the training but hands on experience is the only real way to learn the system anyways. The Ethiopian restaurant that I keep hearing about provided lunch. It was delicious, especially the "saburosa" maybe that's what it was called haha.
Well this was a nice break from studying, back to work!

"Bring your own knowledge" ran smoothly, the weather wasn't great so I imagine the turn out could've been better but it was a lot of fun. We had a dumpster diving workshop, bike co op, a speaker on how to make your own ethanol/alcohol, swing dancing, team building and conflict resolution with hoola hoops, parachutes, and jenga, voters registration, and community paint boards. Overall a great time and tons of support!

New signs

Searching for Peace - The Palestine and Israel Conflict, Last nights speaker was a Pastor/ Dr. from the UK, he talked about the history of Christian Zionism, and how it has manifested into the political issues the US is involved in today. It was quite a mindful, the only thing I took away from it other than the history was to never read any of those radical religious books on armagedon or the apocolypse.
